COLD ROLLED SHEETS
SORTS
GOST 19904-90
(ST SEV 1968-79)
Date of introduction 01.01.91
This standard applies to cold-rolled sheet steel with a width of 500 mm and more, manufactured in sheets with a thickness of 0.35 to 5.00 mm, coils with a thickness of 0.35 to 3.50 mm.
1. A number of sizes of rolled products are given in table. 1.
At the request of the consumer, it is allowed to install dimensions that differ from those given in table. 1.
Table 1
mm
* For sheets only; unfolded length of rolls is not regulated.
2. Rentals are subdivided into:
1) by manufacturing accuracy:
by thickness:
BT - high,
AT - increased,
BT - normal;
fit to width:
HS - high,
ASh - increased,
BSh - normal (sheet metal);
in length: (sheet metal, except rolled sheet)
VD - high,
BP - high,
DB - normal;
2) flatness (sheet metal):
software - especially high,
PV - high,
PU - improved,
MON - normal;
3) by edge character:
O - cut,
BUT - unedged.
3. Dimensions of rolled products:
in sheets - Appendix 1;
in rolls - appendix 2.
Dimensional characteristics and their combinations specified in the order - Appendix 3.
4. Maximum deviations in thickness of rolled products should not exceed those given in table. 2.
Table 2
Note. At the request of the consumer, it is allowed to manufacture rolled products with minus permissible maximum deviations equal in magnitude to the sum of the maximum deviations.
4.1. At the request of the consumer, the maximum deviations in the thickness of high-precision rolled products with a width of more than 1500 to 2000 mm should not exceed the values given in table. 3.
Table 3
mm
5. The difference in thickness of rolled products in one cross section should not exceed half the sum of the maximum deviations in thickness.
6. Maximum deviations in width of rolled products with unedged edges should be no more than + 20 mm.
7. Maximum deviations along the width of rolled products with a cut edge should not exceed the values given in table. 4.
Table 4
mm
7.1. At the request of the consumer, the maximum deviations in the width of rolled products with a cut edge of increased and normal accuracy with a width of more than 1000 mm should not exceed the values given in table. 5.

mm
7.2. Maximum deviations along the width of rolled with a cut edge, rolled sheet by sheet, should not exceed, mm:
+ 6-for widths up to 1000 mm;
+ 10 - with the width of St. 1000 to 1500 mm;
+ 15-at the width of St. 1500 mm.
8. Limit deviations along the length of the sheets should not exceed the values given in table. 6.
Table 6
mm
Limit deviations along the length of sheet metal rolled one sheet at a time should not exceed, mm:
+ 10-for sheets up to 1500 mm long;
+ 15-with the length of the sheets of St. 1500 mm.
8.1. At the request of the consumer, the maximum deviations along the length of the sheets should not exceed, mm:
+6 - with the length of St. 1500 to 2000 mm (high precision manufacturing);
+0,003 nominal length - with length over. 2000 mm (high precision manufacturing);
+6 - with a length of up to 1500 mm (normal manufacturing accuracy).
9. Maximum deviations from flatness of sheets per 1 m of length should not exceed the values given in table. 7.

mm
For rolled products of normal flatness with a width over 1800 mm, deviations from flatness should not exceed
