Steel production in CIS countries in April 2019 decreased by 3.7 percent

Global steel production for all 64 countries reporting to the World Steel Association (worldsteel) was 156.7 million tonnes in April 2019, up 6.4 percent from April 2018.

In the four months since the beginning of 2019, global steel production amounted to 599.86 million tons, which is 4.8 percent more than in the APPD.
