As Kallanish has learned, the merger of two German pipe distributors will create a new national market leader in the hydraulic products segment.

Since September 1, Hoberg & Driesch Group (H&D), headquartered in Dusseldorf, has acquired the Schierle Stahlrohre Hotel located in the neighboring town of Neuss. The company will now operate under the name Hoberg & Driesch Schierle. H&D says that with this acquisition, it has significantly strengthened its position in the hydraulic products market, including piston tubes, piston rods and cylinder tubes, in Germany and beyond.

As part of the integration, Schierle's production facilities in this area will become part of H&D.
