Duferco Group has announced the creation of a subsidiary holding company Duferco Renewable Industries, which will combine its projects in the field of renewable energy and energy transition. The new structure will focus on the development and investment of relevant assets, as well as industrial activities.
The company expects to concentrate its experience, financial resources and industrial assets in one structure in order to increase work efficiency and strengthen interaction between business lines.
Francesco Del Pizzo has been appointed CEO of Duferco Renewable Industries. He will also join the board of directors of the Duferco Group holding company.
Duferco Chairman Antonio Gozzi noted that the energy transition requires capital, technical expertise and industrial vision. According to him, the new structure is aimed at developing infrastructure and technologies that will support Italy's competitiveness and energy independence.
Founded in the steel sector, Duferco today also operates in energy, shipping and innovation. The group's consolidated revenue for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2025 increased by 46% compared to the previous year and reached USD 26.9 billion. The company attributed the growth to an increase in trade and distribution volumes in the energy division, as well as an increase in steel production.
