Ferrexpo has achieved the removal of restrictions on operations with shares of Poltava GOK
Konstantin Zhevago's iron ore company Ferrexpo announced that it had achieved in a Ukrainian court the lifting of restrictions on operations with Ferrexpo Poltava Mining (FPM) shares owned by Ferrexpo AG Switzerland.
On June 19, 2020, Ferrexpo announced that the Kiev District Court of First Instance imposed a cap on 50.3% of FPM shares. On October 6, 2020, Ferrexpo announced that it had unsuccessfully challenged this court order.
“Following a new motion to lift the restriction, which was filed with the Court in November 2020, the group managed to lift the restriction. The group understands that the new court decision to lift the cap on 50.3% of FPM shares cannot be appealed, "Ferrexpo said.
Konstantin Zhevago was a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of 3-8 convocations, in particular from the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc (in 5-6 convocations) and as a self-nominated candidate.
The State Bureau of Investigation of Zhevago is suspected of involvement in the scheme of embezzlement and legalization of 2.5 billion hryvnia of Finance and Credit Bank and on October 9 he was put on the wanted list.
According to the RRB, the offshore company opened credit lines in foreign banks in 2007-2014, and the Finance and Credit Bank vouched for it with foreign banks with a collateral of more than $ 113 million. In 2015, foreign banks collected this money from the Finance and Credit accounts.
On October 11, the SAP reported that NABU detectives, with the agreement of anti-corruption prosecutors, reported Zhevago's suspicion of entering inaccurate information in the declaration. The investigation by NABU detectives under the procedural guidance of the SAP prosecutors has been carried out since 2017.
In October, on his own initiative, he left the post of CEO of Ferrexpo, of which he is the majority owner and CEO.

Poltava GOK is the main asset of the British mining company Ferrexpo plc, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange: it owns 100% of the shares of Ferrexpo AG, which, in turn, owns 100% of the shares of Poltava GOK, 100% of Eristovsky GOK and 99.9% of Belanovsky GOK.
