“Please consider moving to Starbase or the larger Brownsville /South Padre area in Texas and encourage your friends to do so! SpaceX's need to hire engineers, technicians, builders and the necessary support staff of all kinds is growing rapidly, ”he tweeted.
Earlier, Elon Musk proposed to rename the entire Texas city of Boca Chica, where his company is developing a spacecraft for a flight to Mars, into "Starbase". Local authorities have warned that this will not be so easy.
In Brownsville, SpaceX is developing the Starship, a reusable stainless steel spacecraft for flights to the Moon, Mars and other interplanetary missions. It is also planned to serve as the second stage of the Big Falcon Rocket super-heavy launch vehicle. The rocket plays a key role in Musk's plans for space missions.
In addition to the SpaceX launch site, Tesla automaker Elona Musk is building a plant in Texas to produce electric vehicles.
