The furnace is scheduled to be launched in 2026. The company has now started commissioning and testing.
As part of the construction of DP-1, specialists installed over 17 thousand tons of metal structures, poured 9400 m3 of concrete, carried out 295 km of cable products, and installed 2.4 thousand tons of equipment.

Tulachermet (part of the Industrial and Metallurgical Holding) is one of the world's largest producers and suppliers of commercial cast iron. The company produces more than 10 advanced and special grades of it. Tulachermeta cast iron is a world–renowned brand. The pigs of the enterprise have a unique marking in the form of the letter "T".
The largest consumer of pig iron in Russia is the partner metallurgical plant Promsort-Tula. Tulachermet also supplies cast iron to metallurgical, machine-building and iron foundries.
The plant operates an agglomeration plant consisting of three sintering machines, as well as two blast furnaces with a volume of 2,200 and 1,144 cubic meters.
Tulachermet is one of the largest employers in Tula, employing more than 4,500 metallurgists.
