Ukraine launched an investigation into the supply of mineral wool from Russia
Ukraine has launched an anti-dumping investigation in relation to thermal insulation materials, including those originating from the Russian Federation.
The Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade of Ukraine initiated in relation to heat-insulating materials (slag wool, mineral silicate wool and similar types of mineral wool), including those originating from the Russian Federation and classified according to the code ex 6806 10 00 00 TN VED of Ukraine.
The decision of November 20, 2020 No. AD-468/2020 /4411-03 on the beginning of the investigation was published in the newspaper "Government Courier" on November 25, 2020 No. 229 (6843).
The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine considers requests from interested parties in an investigation to hold public hearings by December 25, 2020, and also accepts written comments by January 22, 2020.
On February 21, 2020, the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade of Ukraine following the results of an anti-dumping investigation into the import of certain types of cables and ropes to Ukraine made a decision No. AD-438/2020 /4411-03, according to which an anti-dumping duty is introduced for 5 years in the amount of 50.09% for all Russian manufacturers.
On November 25, 2020, Ukraine introduced a special duty on the import of steel bars and wire rod from Belarus in the amount of 16.08% of the customs value.
