One of the largest enterprises of mining and metallurgical complex of Ukraine Dnieper metallurgical plant JSC "DMK" introduced the algorithm of organizing and conducting temperature screening of plant personnel and contract workers. Total temperature control officers introduced by decision of the staff of the operational response, preparation and implementation of preventive measures to prevent the spread of viral infection.
This is a common approach to one of the elements of the process to prevent the spread Covid-19 throughout the enterprise. Mandatory temperature screening using contact and non-contact thermometers (pyrometers) is for all DMK employees and contractors:
- at the entrance to the enterprise at all border crossings;
- in conducting pre-shift and pre-trip medical check - UPS in health centers;
- during the work shift in the structural units.
If the worker detected temperature above 37.1 °C or other signs of respiratory disease to the plant it is not permitted or is immediately suspended, and instead must go to a medical facility.
If respiratory disease has been confirmed, you must immediately notify your supervisor and comply with quarantine conditions and recommendations of doctors. All venues for temperature screening plant provided with disinfectants and personal protective equipment.
