In may 2020 at "Zaporizhstal" was smelted 391,7 thousand tons of iron, which is 16.9 percent more than in may 2019. Steel production in may amounted to 321,5 thousand tons (94 per cent in annual comparison), output of finished rolled products - 269,1 thousand tons (92.2 percent by may 2019).
the press service of the plant said that in may 2020 in connection with quarantine restrictions, decreased demand for hot-rolled and cold-rolled coils in the traditional plant markets (Turkey, South-Eastern Europe domestic market of Ukraine).
January to may 2020 at Zaporizhstal produced 1795,1 thousand tons of iron, 1504,2 thousand tons of steel, 1287,8 thousand tons of rolled stock.
