General Director of "Zaporizhstal" steel works appointed Alexander Mironenko
November 25, 2019 by the General meeting of shareholders of PJSC "Zaporizhstal" has appointed the General Director of the enterprise Alexander Mironenko. The previous General Director Rostislav Shurma, announced his retirement from the company "Metinvest" on October 23, once worked as a top Manager of the company since 2012.
As told in the press service of "Zaporizhstal" Aleksandr Mironenko has extensive experience in the steel industry. In the Group "Metinvest" he moved in 2007 from the company "Smart-holding" Vadim Novinsky, and during that time went from being an expert in production planning and sales to Director of production operational management. In this position, he worked to improve the efficiency of the mining and metallurgical enterprises of the Group.
From 2007 to 2010 he worked in "Promet steel" (Bulgaria), and from 2010 to 2019 – in the operational management of Metinvest Group.
He was also a member of the Supervisory boards ECHP and "Promet steel", and in 2017 he headed the Supervisory Board of the last company.
Alexander Mironenko was born on 31 December 1981 in Kiev. Graduated from the national technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute". He is married with two children.
