According to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Alexey Goncharuk, a slight weakening of the hryvnia before the New year is due to speculative demand, and in 2020 it is expected continuation of the trend to the strengthening of the national currency.
"I Think that the tendency to strengthening of the hryvnia will continue next year. Attribute this to the fact that gradually the population and of business a credibility of the state," he said in an interview "Украина24".
He noted that the issue of the final decision of the International monetary Fund about opening for Ukraine a new three-year EFF program of 5.5 billion dollars will be resolved for "several months", adding that the questions were "technical" in nature.
"no Problem," - said Goncharuk, noting that the IMF is demonized through the media oligarchy, whereas in fact cooperation with the IMF is beneficial for Ukraine.
Earlier Goncharuk on the same channel, said that the strengthening of the hryvnia, recent, reflects the growing demand for the national currency, and will continue, if the economy will grow as expected by the government.
