Ukraine is preparing to halt supplies of oil products from Belarus
the Deputy Minister of economic development, trade and agriculture – trade representative of Ukraine Taras Kachka denies the influence of the stop of Russian oil deliveries to Belarus on the situation in Ukraine in the short term, but the Ministry is developing a plan of action in case of such a threat.
"the Decision to halt oil supplies from Russia to the Republic of Belarus on the situation in Ukraine in the near future will have no effect. We are constantly monitoring the situation and are working on a common plan of action to eliminate any negative impact relating to the turnover of oil and oil products from Russia (direct and indirect)", – commented Pitching the Agency "Interfax-Ukraine" on Friday.
As coalsalesBelarusian refineries - "Naftan" (Novopolotsk, Vitebsk region) and Mozyr (Gomel region) ascertain the absence of contracts with Russian oil companies on oil supply and termination of supply of raw materials from 1 January 2020. Both plants continue to work on the accumulated at the end of December the balances of raw materials. The companies noted that the current reserves of crude oil will allow to save the download of the refinery to a technologically acceptable level until mid-January.
From 1 January 2020 Belarus has suspended the export of oil products amid a lack of oil supplies from Russia.
