The MK-42 dump truck manufactured by GHH Group, one of the leading providers of integrated solutions for the mining and tunneling industries, was recognized as the winner of the Good Design Award 2021 - a prestigious international award in the field of industrial design (Australia).
MK-42 - the flagship dump truck in the production line of the GHH Fahrzeuge GmbH plant (Germany), appeared on the market in 2020. For the Russian market, based on customer requests, it was adapted to transport up to 45 tons of payload. The dump truck is designed for underground mining and tunneling. The machine is designed in collaboration with operators and miners to create safe and efficient equipment with a high level of operating comfort.
More than 900 projects were reviewed at the Good Design Award 2021 this year. According to the jury, the MK-42 dump truck from GHH impresses with its elegant and thoughtful exterior, which is rarely found among vehicles of this class and purpose. The MK-42 is an example of the successful embodiment of engineering and design ideas. The machine sets new standards in the truck class with improved performance, turning radius and tipping angle. The operator's cab is ergonomically designed to be equipped with all possible safety features.

Before winning in Australia, the MK-42 dump truck took gold in the German city of Essen, home of the famous Red Dot Design Award, one of the most famous international design awards that is presented annually in Berlin.
