A new Komatsu WA700-3 front loader (Japan) has been delivered to the mining department of Svyatogor OJSC (an enterprise of the UMMC metallurgical complex). The equipment replaces a similar unit that has been in operation for more than 10 years in the North-Western open pit of the Volkovsky mine.
The new front-end loader is equipped with a 9 cubic meter bucket. Carrying capacity of the machine is over 17 tons. The equipment is equipped with a high-performance diesel engine with a capacity of 670 liters. with., has an increased unloading height, has the widest track in its class of trucks and a long chassis base, which ensures maximum stability of the machine when loading rock mass.
Comfortable conditions for personnel are also an important feature of the novelty. The ROPS /FORS cab has a canopy installed on the operator's cab frame and designed to protect the operator from possible falling loads from above, an ergonomic seat and an air conditioning system.
- This equipment was acquired as part of a program for replacing and modernizing worn-out equipment operating at the enterprise. The loader will be involved in the process of loading the rock mass in the quarry around the clock, ”said Ildar Iskhakov, senior mechanic of the mining department of Svyatogor.
Svyatogor's costs for the purchase of a KomatsuWA700-3 front loader amounted to more than 100 million rubles .
