Centravis has increased production and strengthened its position in the global market for seamless pipes: the company's results in 2021

The company's production volume in 2021 amounted to 19.43 thousand tons compared to 19.05 thousand tons in 2020. Investment also increased from € 1.85 million to € 4 million and the average salary increased (by 18%).

According to Centravis CEO Yuri Atanasov, in 2021 several trends dominated.
First, there was a sharp recovery in world markets and increased demand from customers from different regions.
Secondly, there was an extremely high level of inflation, as well as a sharp rise in prices for raw materials and energy, which affected the cost of production.
Third, against the background of all the current challenges, it was necessary to increase the efficiency of the team.

"2021 was a unique year. We expected a slightly bigger result given our economy. On the other hand, we have managed to make many structural changes. Most importantly, Centravis has further strengthened its position in the global market as a reliable supplier with a wide range of products, ready to work in various industries. And now we are looking at 2022 with great optimism, "Yuriy Atanasov stressed.

Alexander Novak, a member of Centravis' board of directors, noted that in 2021 the company managed to increase the supply of seamless pipes to the US (by 30%), Western Europe (by 20%), Asia and the Middle East (by 12%).

"In the conditions of agitated demand for our products and at the same time a sharp increase in the cost of electricity, logistics, our task was to earn as much margin as possible, and then save it. To do this, we tried to raise prices, "running away" from the rising cost, as well as transfer part of this cost on the shoulders of our customers.

All this required additional efforts from all members of our sales team, which significantly united them, "said Alexander Novak.

According to the company's CFO, Alexander Joseph, in 2021 Centravis restructured corporate debt and received refinancing on favorable terms in the amount of 35 million euros from Ukreximbank.

The company's EBITDA in 2021 amounted to 12 million euros, investment increased from 1.85 million euros to 4 million euros.

Yuriy Atanasov also shared the company's plans for 2022. This year, Centravis plans to increase production to 21,000 tons and investment in production to 10 million euros. The company already has a portfolio of orders for the first half of the year and continues to work to maintain margins in the face of high inflation.

Centravis is one of the world's largest manufacturers of seamless stainless steel pipes. The company was founded in 2000. Production facilities are located in Nikopol (Dnipropetrovsk region). Centravis is one of the top 10 global players, supplying products to Thyssenkrupp, BMW, Alstom, Linde, Samsung, Volkswagen and other companies. The company has more than 1,400 employees.
