Izhora Pipe Plant (ITZ, part of PJSC Severstal) won several tenders for the supply of large diameter pipes for PJSC Gazprom with a total volume of over 200 thousand tons. The products are intended for the project for the development of gas transmission capacities of the UGSS in the North-West Region (NEGP), as well as for the construction of the Kovykta-Chayanda section of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline.
The company will produce and supply pipes with a diameter of 720 to 1420 mm with different wall thicknesses from steel of strength class K60. Rolled metal for pipes will be rolled at Mill 5000 of PJSC Severstal (located in the Kolpinsky district of St. Petersburg, at the same industrial site with the ITZ).
ITZ will ship products to the client in 2019 in accordance with the required delivery schedule.
“The plant has accumulated serious experience in the production of products for the projects of its key client - Gazprom, including those running in the most difficult climatic conditions. The new order will give the enterprise an opportunity to significantly load production capacities, as well as further strengthen the cooperation of the companies to maximize satisfaction of the individual requirements of the consumer ", - comments Alexander Shevelev, CEO of Severstal.
