The complexity of projects on the eve of the winter period is always a challenge to the professionalism of all company services. High temperature fluctuations require obligatory compliance with the proven technological process, as well as extensive experience from construction specialists. After all, the durability and accuracy of the supplied equipment depends on the quality of construction work.
Recently, a project was completed to modernize the old mechanical scales installed on the territory of an agricultural enterprise in the Vologda region. Work with this enterprise began in the spring of this year, with a request for the possibility of supplying new 80 ton truck scales.
In the process of discussing the project, it turned out that the enterprise already has an old weight room, with non-working mechanical scales and rickety sheds. Our specialists proposed a variant for the modernization of these scales, which will significantly reduce the costs of the enterprise.To implement the project, an engineer's departure was required for a complete survey of the facility for suitability for modernization. Having received a positive conclusion from the service engineer, it was decided to sign the contract. This project was scheduled for mid-autumn, but was postponed several times.
By the date of arrival of the construction and installation team, rafter equipment was prepared for carrying out earthworks, as well as dismantling the old shed. The project provided for an increase in the length of the loading platform up to 18 meters and an increase in the maximum weighing limit up to 80 tons, with the initial parameters of 30 tons and 12 meters. Works were carried out to dismantle the old flooring, the entire lever system of mechanical scales, strengthen the existing foundation, and cast new support pedestals. Before the onset of sub-zero temperatures, the concrete gained optimal strength and was ready for installation work. All work was completed on time.
By the date of completion of the work, an initial state verification was ordered from the local branch of the CSM. During the verification, the truck scales confirmed compliance with all the declared metrological characteristics and received a mark of verification. The scales were accepted by the customer in full and without complaints, from the date of acceptance of the equipment, the warranty period began to count.
