The winter period is the time to prepare equipment for the new agricultural season. Many enterprises seek to take advantage of this time to carry out service maintenance of their machinery and equipment.
Recently, the next annual service maintenance of 100 tons of 18 meter truck scales was carried out for an agricultural enterprise in the Saratov region. A few years ago, 100 truck scales were built for this enterprise; for the entire period of operation, these scales showed high reliability in operation and measurement accuracy. According to the maintenance schedule, service specialists were sent to the customer’s site, who carried out work on:
external inspection (to identify possible damage to the loading platform and the base of the scales);
cleaning the terminal and platform from contamination;
checking and, if necessary, adjusting and installing the weight platform according to the level;
visual inspection of the integrity of the connecting cables;
diagnostics of the power supply system of scales;
checking the operability of the weighing terminal (checking the settings);
checking the state of the grounding circuit of the balance;
adjustment of the scales (if necessary, resetting the scale parameters and entering constants according to the technical documentation for these scales);
checking the scales with reference weights for the accuracy of readings;
surrender to the state verification;
Scales have successfully passed the next annual state verification and are fully ready for the new season.
