From June 6 to 9, 2023, participants and visitors of the XXXI International Specialized Exhibition of Mining Technologies – "Coal of Russia and Mining" will have a rich business program: scientific and practical conferences, round tables, seminars, presentations. The main industry event of the mining industry will become a platform for the exchange of experience, strengthening old and establishing new business ties.
The business program "Coal of Russia and Mining-2023" will unite like–minded leaders of the mining and related industries, experts, representatives of academia and government agencies. Thus, according to an online survey conducted by the organizers, more than 80% of participants plan to attend the business program, and the most popular topics will be import substitution, production market trends, as well as analysis of the current state of the industry.
The events will traditionally be held in the format of thematic days: "Ministerial Day", "Director General's Day", "Day of the Technical Director and Chief Mechanic".
Within the framework of the first thematic day, a meeting of the Commission of the State Council of the Russian Federation in the direction of "Energy", a round table "Implementation of a comprehensive program for the resettlement of residents from under-worked territories" will be held, organized by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Coal Industry of Kuzbass.
Also on June 6, a round table "Measures of state support for Kuzbass industrial enterprises" will be held, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Kuzbass and the Kuzbass Industry Development Fund, as well as a meeting of the Foreign Trade Committee of the Kuzbass Chamber of Commerce and Industry "Kuzbass - SCO countries: Business cooperation strategy, opportunities for cooperation and partnership".
The conference program includes "Current digital solutions for industry. Implementation practice in partnership with MegaFon" a representative of PJSC MegaFon will talk about the main changes, current trends and prospects for the introduction of digital technologies in the mining industry.
The business program will be opened on June 7 by JSC FPG ENERGOKONTRACT. The Group of Companies has been supplying kits for protection against major occupational risks for more than 27 years. As part of the presentation "Reliable solutions for protecting people's lives", the company's specialist will present modern personal protective equipment that is needed at mining enterprises. In addition, with the support of the Ministry of Labor and Employment of Kuzbass, representatives of government agencies will discuss occupational risk assessments at coal enterprises, issues of digitalization of labor protection processes and will present a pilot project for the prevention of occupational diseases.
Among the main business events of the second thematic day is a meeting of working groups on the preparation of proposals for a set of measures aimed at improving safety and working conditions and analyzing the state of environmental safety in the coal industry, chaired by Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation S.V. Mochalnikov.
According to tradition, the international scientific and practical conference "High-tech technologies for the development and use of mineral resources" will be held on the "Day of the technical director and Chief Mechanic". Among the organizers are the Government of Kuzbass, the administration of the city of Novokuznetsk, the Siberian State Industrial University, JSC NC VostNII, the Federal Research Center for Coal and Coal Chemistry SB RAS, the National Mining Rescue Center, the Liaoning Province University of Science and Technology.
Occupational health and safety is where mining begins and ends. Especially for managers and employees of industrial enterprises on June 8, JSC "NC VostNII", the Siberian Department of Rostechnadzor, the Ministry of Coal Industry of Kuzbass will hold a seminar where they will talk about ensuring industrial safety during underground and open-pit mining of coal deposits.
The exhibition "Coal of Russia and Mining" will be held from 6 to 9 June 2023 in Novokuznetsk, at the exhibition complex "Kuzbass Fair".
