Suslonger, October 13, 2023 The Welding Technology Center hosted an open Day for students of technical schools and colleges.
The event was attended by more than 60 novice specialists from 5 educational and professional institutions. Among the invited guests are the head of the Zvenigovsky district, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the Ministry of Industry and Economic Development of the Republic of Mari El.
One of the most important tasks of the Open Day was to establish links between students and potential employers. Representatives of the largest companies in the region and neighboring republics told about their enterprises, areas of professional development, as well as requirements for future applicants.
At the event, novice specialists could not only personally meet and communicate with employees of leading enterprises, but also get acquainted with advanced solutions in the field of welding technologies. For example, ESAB, one of the leaders in the production of equipment and consumables for welding and cutting metals, provided an updated demo van for the Open Day, equipped with Fabricator and Rogue inverter welding current sources, as well as exhibition tables and two folding tables. In order for students to evaluate the specifics of various welding processes and the functionality of ESAB solutions, the company's specialists conducted visual demonstrations for everyone.
In addition, in order to improve the level and quality of professional training of young welders, employees of the Mari 3D Technologies company held a competition among students of educational institutions. Following the results of the competition, all participants and guests received memorable prizes, and the winners were awarded welding gloves, safety glasses and electrodes from ESAB.

The Welding Technology Center was built in 2020 on the initiative of the Mari 3D Technologies company, with the participation of ESAB, one of the leaders in the production of equipment and consumables for welding and cutting, and with the support of the administration of the Zvenigovsky district of the Republic of Mari El.
