The EVOBLAST Group, a Russian expert in the field of explosives, announced the update of the practice–oriented consulting course "Safe and effective blasting operations." The program, developed by the EVOBLAST Engineering division, has been in operation for more than a year. It has now been supplemented with a new section dedicated to underground mining. This is a response to requests from companies that are increasing the share of underground mining and are interested in professional development. EVOBLAST Engineering is also actively developing a set of localized solutions capable of optimizing the management of BVR in an underground manner.
The program is based on practical examples and solutions and is aimed at mastering working methods by explosives experts that increase the safety and economic efficiency of production. So, it includes examples of explosion design using electronic initiation systems (ESI). This modern method is more efficient and safer than traditional non-electrical means of initiation, and is also capable of ensuring a more efficient use of enterprise resources. However, the implementation of ESI requires sufficient knowledge and skills of specialists, which they can acquire by completing training.
The Design course is adapted to the specific needs of customers. It consists of 12 modules, which are constantly updated with new information and fresh examples. Depending on the specialization and experience of the group, the most useful sections are selected, allowing both to refresh knowledge and gain new skills.
