Company metalloinvest, a leading manufacturer and supplier of iron ore and hot briquetted iron (HBI) on the world market, one of the regional producers of high quality steel, and pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK), a global supplier of steel pipes, pipe solutions and related services for the oil and gas sector, has entered into agreements for supply of HBI and sheet (strip).
the signing Ceremony, which was attended by first Deputy General Director - commercial Director UK "metalloinvest" Nazim Efendiev and Deputy General Director of TMK Sergey Marchenko, was held in the framework of the 25-th International industrial exhibition "Metal-Expo'2019" in Moscow.
metalloinvest for 2020 TMK will supply about 240 thousand tons of HBI produced by Lebedinsky GOK. Pricing will be implemented through a formula-based methodology that relies on market indicators of the value of scrap metal on the world and Russian markets.
the Second contract involves the supply of TMK about 75 thousand tons of strip production at Ural Steel.

We began shipments of HBI enterprises TMK in 2015, and by the end of the current year the total volume of supplies will reach 1 million tons. New agreement for HBI and strip confirm the high assessment of the quality of our iron ore and metallurgical products, as well as mutual desire, metalloinvest, TMK, and to expand cooperation."

For many years, the company supplies businesses TMK billets, sheet and rolled iron, iron ore. In November 2016, the company concluded with TMK's first long-term contract for supply of HBI.
