In the framework of the Belarusian-Austrian business forum of OJSC "BMZ — holding management company "BMK" was signed with the Austrian partners of a major agreement on export deliveries for 2020. We are talking about implementation of more than 270 thousand tons of steel products worth about 100 million euros.
the Agreement, which was signed by BMZ with companies Belmet and PisecGroup mean the shipment of Belarusian steel products in Austria and the countries of the European Union. Export will be implemented mainly metal and metal products. Separately for these items it is possible to allocate structural rental, production and marketing of which BMZ has considerably increased in recent years. This high-tech metal products, which is designed, including premium for such industries as automotive.
the Belarusian metallurgical plant and Austria have long-standing partnerships that have lasted since the construction of the plant. Then, 35 years ago, the Austrian company was one of the key suppliers of equipment and technology. Later, she participated in many ongoing enterprise renovations and upgrades.
Since the release of the BMP on export markets, the relationship of the plant with Austria acquired bilateral in nature: the country has become for the BMZ not only equipment supplier, but also a consumer product. Only in the last 5 years, the exports to Austria amounted to $ 32 million. It should be noted that for ship types of steel products on the market in Austria, BMZ is one of the main among non-EU suppliers.
