Expert RA rating agency assigned a credit rating to Severstal non-financial company at ruAАА, which corresponds to the highest level of creditworthiness /financial reliability /financial stability on the national scale for the Russian Federation, according to the agency. The rating outlook is stable. The Expert RA credit rating has been assigned to Severstal for the first time. The rating is assigned according to the Russian national scale and is long-term.
According to the rating agency, the assignment of the ruAАА rating is due to one of the highest EBITDA profitability indicators - 37%, high indicators of return on assets and equity in terms of adjusted net profit, low debt level and comfortable schedule its repayment. The agency also positively assesses the forecast liquidity indicator, dividend policy, indicators of current and “stress” liquidity and debt portfolio of the company. Expert RA also positively assessed the block of corporate risks due to the high quality of strategic support, informational transparency of toffee management.
