Representatives of French business arrived in Chelyabinsk to establish partnerships with enterprises of the Ural region. The delegation was headed by Pavel Shinsky, Director General of the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It included representatives of well-known French companies from the field of heavy industry, logistics and IT.
While examining the CMP rail and structural mill, the French guests saw how a construction beam is made, and also got acquainted with the possibilities of manufacturing rail products, including of 100-meter rails for high-speed lines.
“The participants were very impressed with the capabilities of the mill, modern technologies and the scale of production. The length of the mill is about 1.5 kilometers, and the greatest length of the technological line for the manufacture of rail products is over 3 kilometers. We are already supplying the beam to the European market, rail products can also be used on European railways, ”comments Vladimir Kapnin, Chief Engineer of ChMK PJSC.
