According to the contract, the Italian company Mario Frigerio S. p.A. will supply plant equipment for the production of spring steel, high strength rebar, rope, welding wire. Delivery will be made by the three parties until October 2021. The first BMK expected in the third quarter of 2020.
high-performance line-drawing steel wire will be installed in the shops of the plant. New machines ensure a product high quality characteristics: necessary plastic properties, surface finish, and uniformity of mechanical properties along the length. Annual performance one line – up to 13 thousand tons of wire. Manufactured products are widely demanded in various industries.
the Project of modernization of steel wire and rope production BMK is supported by the industry development Fund of the Russian Federation. The total cost of the project – 1.5 billion rubles, of which 750 million rubles – concessional loan of FRP. Modernization of the shops must be completed by December 2023.
in Addition to improving product quality and productivity, the project will allow to solve environmental problems, in particular, the plant will continue begun earlier transition to acid-free processing technology of wire rod: new mills include units of mechanical descaling, it will eliminate the chemical etching of wire rod by the way.
