2019 was the second in a row, when the company noted a record volume of shipments of galvanized steel. In 2018, the plant shipped 1,269 million tonnes of galvanized metal, which is almost 12% higher than the previous year (1,134 million tonnes) and also was a historical high for the plant.
the Last twenty years of PAO MMK is consistently working to increase production of high margin products, further processing with high added value. So, in 2002 and 2008 the plant was put into operation two high-performance continuous galvanizing line (CGL) with a capacity of 500 thousand tonnes and 450 tonnes respectively. In 2012 he commissioned the second phase of the new cold rolling complex, which also work CGL and combined unit of continuous annealing/hot dip galvanizing. In July 2017 at the Magnitogorsk metallurgical combine has commissioned a continuous hot dip galvanizing line No. 3 with a capacity of 360 thousand tons a year.
