The auditors visited all divisions involved in production, quality control and testing of rail products. We checked the normative and technical documentation, maintenance and repair of equipment, working conditions and personnel qualifications. We paid special attention to the technological process of rail production: from steel smelting to testing and shipment of finished products. Before being shipped to the consumer, all rail products are scanned on an automated non-destructive testing line for defects and undergo laboratory tests to determine their quality characteristics.
Based on the results of the inspection, the quality management system based on the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001 was recognized effective. Rail products meet the highest standards. The production uses advanced technologies that allow the manufacture of heat-strengthened rails up to 100 meters long for general purpose railways and high-speed combined traffic, as well as pointed rails for the manufacture of turnouts.
