JSC "Shadrinsk automobile units plant" mastered the production of mufflers for American companies Geerac Power Systems, which is one of the world leaders in manufacturing systems of backup power.
the Muffler is designed to reduce noise of exhaust gases in the exhaust system of the generator installation up to compliance. Currently, the management of chief designer of the design documentation of five modifications of attenuators, – said the head of the Department for radiators and aggregates the control of the chief designer Vladimir Turchaninov. – All mufflers are different in design and technological process of production, since they are designed for different generators, large industrial and small household. In terms of material used, we settled on stainless steel with thickness of 1.2 mm. These mufflers belong to the premium segment, as their reliability and durability is much higher than that of products from aluminosiloxane or plain steel.
the First prototypes of the muffler in the amount of four pieces was sent to the company Geerac in November last year. They had received approval from the American side. For the prototypes was followed by the installation of a batch of 40 and 400 mufflers.
On Shadrinsky auto-aggregate plant made mufflers were comparative tests on back pressure at various air flow on the aerodynamic complex. All the required tests they will have to pass on the firm Geerac.
– With the positive outcome we expect to receive production orders, that is, the scope of supply of the company Geerac products will go beyond the radiator production and will include other components for generator sets, – said Deputy technical Director of JSC "SHAAZ" Vyacheslav Usol'tsev. For us this means that American partners see us as a reliable supplier, who quickly masters new products, observe the amounts and timing of postavok.
Otmetim that cooperation Shadrinsk auto aggregate plant and the company Geerac Power Systems is developing since 2006. JSC "SHAAZ" supplies over the ocean about thirty modifications of heat exchangers for industrial and domestic generator sets. Only in 2019 SHAAZ put the company Geerac production is 4.1 million dollars.
