OJSC “BMZ, the management company of the holding“ BMK ”, in 2019 invested more than 1.7 million US dollars in ensuring safe and healthy working conditions for its employees.
The leading positions in the item of expenditures of BMZ on labor protection in the past year were taken by the purchase of overalls, footwear and other personal protective equipment, as well as medical examinations of factory workers and the provision of medicines. More than one million US dollars was allocated for these purposes.
In 2019, BMZ also implemented 60 measures that improved the working conditions of more than 3,000 employees. For example, we are talking about the installation and replacement of saturator installations, the purchase of portable air conditioners, the renovation of equipment in the dining rooms. This work will be continued this year: it is planned to implement 55 more relevant activities at the plant.
