The plant's specialists cleaned storm drains, wells, drainage ditches and passages of melt water, the crest of the sludge pond dam and entrances to it, sealed cable tunnels, brought drainage pumps and other equipment for pumping water into working order. The territory of the plant was cleared of snow and ice. Services and specialized teams have undergone training in interaction with the threat of an emergency in a spring flood.
The water level in the Izhevsk pond and the Izh river is recorded daily. At the moment, the volume of water discharged from the pond is within acceptable values. The flood peak has already passed.
