UGMK-OTSM (unites UMMC assets in the field of non-ferrous metals processing) won the Exporter of the Year award in the Ural Federal District in the category "Exporter of the Year in Industry" in the category "big business". Achievements in the implementation of the company's export sales development strategy were highly noted by the award commission. As the company notes, being among the winners in the Urals Federal District is the most prestigious, since the region is the country's largest exporter not only thanks to large raw material companies. According to the organizers of the competition, this year the Ural Federal District received the most applications - 96 enterprises from various industries. “Of course, today we are satisfied with the results of the regional stage. We can confidently say that the products manufactured by the enterprises of UMMC-OCM are in demand on the world market of non-ferrous rolled products. This is primarily the result of the hard work of the team as a whole: professionals in production and in the management company. Export deliveries are our priority area of development, so we continue to implement investment programs aimed at mastering new standard sizes and alloys that are in demand abroad, ”comments Tatyana Kuchina, Sales Director of UGMK-OCM LLC. Having become the winner of the first stage, UGMK-OCM came out in the final of the competition and in November 2020 will compete for the title of the best exporter of the country with the prize-winners of other federal districts. LLC UGMK-OCM produces copper, brass, bronze, copper-nickel, nickel rolled products: pipes with a diameter of up to 510 mm, flat rolled products with a width up to 1000 mm, foil, rods, profiles.
