Shadrinsk (Kurgan region)
JSC "Shadrinsky Automotive Aggregate Plant" (enterprise of the machine-building complex UMMC) manufactured the second diesel locomotive TEM2N-UMMC for the company "ZheldorTrans-Aktobe" (Kazakhstan). To get a locomotive, a group of drivers from the neighboring republic arrived in Shadrinsk.
- Our task is to accept the completeness of the locomotive and undergo training, - said Valery Glazunov, the driver of ZheldorTrans-Aktobe LLP. - There are no such diesel locomotives as TEM2N-UMMK in Kazakhstan yet, so we got acquainted with the equipment and control systems installed here, received the appropriate certificates of training. This locomotive is radically different from the old cars. It is very comfortable in the cab, everything is equipped with electronics, there are front, side and rear-view cameras, LED lighting. The locomotive is also equipped with electro-pneumatic brakes for driving passenger trains.
In parallel, certification tests of the first TEM2N-UGMK manufactured for ZheldorTrans-Aktobe for compliance with the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union (TR TS 001/2011) "О the safety of railway rolling stock. ” the speed of the locomotive is up to 100 km /h. At present, a package of documents for obtaining a certificate has been sent to the Register for Certification in Federal Railway Transport.
Note that since 2014, when the project to modernize diesel locomotives was launched, the Shadrinsky Automotive Aggregate Plant has produced more than eighty modernized and new locomotives of the TEM2-UGMK, TGM4B-UGMK and TGM6-UGMK series. Today, ShAAZ JSC is the only manufacturer in Russia that has received certificates for modernized diesel locomotives with extended service life.
