At the Bachatsky coal mine, JSC "UK Kuzbassrazrezugol" (an enterprise of the UMMC raw materials complex) decided to facilitate the work of excavator operators. On the 56-cc "American" P & H-4100, a modern analytical system PreVail was installed, which is designed to remotely monitor the condition of the machine.
The system collects statistics on the operation of the excavator, analyzes it, and then finds the potential for reducing downtime and increasing the speed of equipment. Thus, it prompts the excavator operator the most optimal work option: how to increase the productivity of the equipment and at the same time maintain the working "health" of the machine.
The principle of operation of the PreVail analytical system is as follows: it monitors the main parameters of the excavator around the clock, then in online mode transmits information to a single monitoring system PreVail. After processing the information, the final report is sent to the enterprise, where experts are already making decisions on adjusting the excavator control.
The installation of such a system is the implementation of the next initiative of the Company's employees as part of the enterprise transformation program. By the end of the year, it is planned to equip two more P&H excavators with the PreVail system at the Bachatsky mine. The total cost of the project will be 22.6 million rubles, taking into account the expected economic effect, the costs for each system will pay off within 6 months.
