The Krasnobrodsky Coal Mine branch of JSC MC Kuzbassrazrezugol (an enterprise of the raw materials complex of UMMC) received two new shunting diesel locomotives TEM7A. The renewal of the locomotive fleet is envisaged by the Company's railway transport development program. Investments in its implementation in 2018-2019 exceed 1 billion rubles.
New diesel locomotives have replaced the OPE-1 outlet traction units, which have expired. According to experts, TEM7A are distinguished by their power and high reliability. The machines will operate according to the CME system (two diesel locomotives in one coupling), in which the locomotives are controlled from one cabin by one locomotive brigade. Such a system allows to increase the volume of cargo transportation and increase the line capacity. TEM7A has a reinforced frame and is equipped with a microprocessor control system. To improve working conditions, an air conditioner, a heating and ventilation system, a refrigerator, a microwave oven were installed in the cab, vibration and noise insulation of the cab was improved.
Along with the acquisition of new locomotives, the Company continues the program of modernization of existing equipment. In 2019, after modernization at the Shadrinsky Automotive Unit Plant (part of UMMC), two TEM2UGMK diesel locomotives will return to the Company's enterprises; last year, the Company received two updated TEM2s. In total, since 2014, since the start of the locomotive fleet modernization program, Kuzbassrazrezugol has updated 15 such machines.
In addition to renewing the locomotive fleet, the Company continues to work on the development of the railway infrastructure: in 2018, a modern locomotive depot was commissioned at the station ... Cherny Kaltan, this year it is planned to complete the construction of an additional loading dead end at the station. Taldinskaya (Taldinsky coal mine) and a bypass connecting track between st. Technological and Semenushkino at the Bachatsky coal mine, to reconstruct the stations at the Kedrovsky and Krasnobrodsky coal mines.
“Every day, Kuzbassrazrezugol sends consumers more than 1.5 thousand cars with coal. Therefore, the development of the railway infrastructure is one of the key areas of the Company's activities, ”comments Vasily Alboschiy, head of the railway transport department of JSC MC Kuzbassrazrezugol.
