Mine builders of PJSC "Gaysky GOK" (an enterprise of the raw materials complex of the UMMC) have completed sinking the shaft of the "Severnaya Ventilatsionnaya 2" mine. The facility is one of the key ones in terms of the reconstruction of the underground mine. After commissioning, the new ventilation shaft will provide ventilation of the horizons located below the 990 meter mark. The capacity of the main ventilation unit is 600 cubic meters of air per second.
- The development of the underground mine continues, its horizons go deeper, and for their life support, improving the working conditions of workers in the underground mine and mine construction management, it is necessary to increase the capacity for supplying air and airing. Therefore, the commissioning of the Severnaya Ventilyatsionnaya 2 mine (the third in terms of the number of ventilation shafts) is an important production task for all of us, - said Alexander Tulenkov, chief engineer of Gaysky GOK.
Going to mine shaft sinking Severnaya Ventilatsionnaya 2 MGOK started at the end of 2016. During this time, about 51.5 thousand cubic meters of rock mass were raised to the surface. The miners have performed conjugation (connections) with three horizons of the underground mine - at the 1075th, 1230th, 1310th meters. In parallel with the tunneling work, the shaft with a diameter of 8.1 meters was reinforced with a layer of concrete.
At the initial stage, the miners were armed with hand-held rock drills, and then - the new Jumbo DRVS 6 vertical drilling rig. jamboy ". It has six booms that operate autonomously.
- The new equipment has eliminated heavy manual labor and increased productivity. Over the course of a month, we started walking on average 40-45 meters instead of the initial 30-32 meters. But as they say, no matter how “smart” and powerful the equipment is, the main thing in any business is people, their skill, technical literacy and a conscientious attitude to work, - said the head of the fourth section of the ShSU Dmitry Lisovsky.
Currently, mine builders are working to dismantle all temporary shaft communications: ventilation, cables, pipes for supplying water, air, concrete, drainage, etc. The final stage of the construction of the shaft of the Severnaya Ventilatsionnaya 2 mine will be its linkage with the ventilation duct of the main ventilation unit, which is under construction. In August, the mine "Severnaya Ventilatsionnaya 2" is planned to be commissioned.
