PJSC Severstal and PJSC Power Machines (part of Severgroup) supported the opening of the Summer Garden 315 festival, which will take place on July 14-16 in St. Petersburg. The festival is timed to the anniversary of the oldest garden in St. Petersburg.
The Summer Garden, founded by Peter I in 1704, was a favorite walking place for noble families, representatives of the imperial family and famous cultural and art workers of that time. The garden survived, together with St. Petersburg, the revolution and the blockade. After the Great Patriotic War, it was restored and again became an important symbol of the city.
Especially for the birthday, the garden will be decorated with flower and landscape compositions. Guests of the festival will also see the wonders of Peter the Great's time: plants with unique pruning will decorate the area in front of the Coffee House, orange trees will delight the eye on the main alley, among the fountains, several well-known sculptures will appear before visitors in a flower frame. You can take pictures on a flower throne among flower arches and other photo zones.
The literary program of the festival will be illustrated by a joint project with the TsGPB im. V.V. Mayakovsky. It is built on the basis of works of classics of Russian literature performed by actors of St. Petersburg theaters, honored artists of Russia and with the participation of contemporary authors.
A real marathon of cultural events awaits visitors every day. Famous St. Petersburg musical and theatrical collectives and many other participants will perform on the festival grounds. Guests of the garden will hear masterpieces of Russian and Western European music performed by the participants of the project "Classical Music in the Russian Museum", and every evening in the Summer Garden, jazz music performed by famous groups will sound.
