The plant's specialists replaced worn-out parts and assemblies, repaired hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, adjusted electrical and energy systems, and performed a set of preventive maintenance. Particular attention was paid to the lathe and the straightening-polishing machine, on which the quality of the finished rolled product depends. All work was completed on time.
The Kieserling line produces turned rods with a diameter of 14-75 mm with high precision from the entire range of steel smelted by the plant. Its products are shipped to automobiles, machine-building, aircraft plants and oil and gas enterprises.
Izhstal has two more similar lines. The total volume of the entire turn-around section in 2018 amounted to about 1.5 thousand tons, which is 6% more than in 2017.
