PAO Severstal, one of the world's largest vertically integrated steel and mining companies, has carried out a batch supply of large diameter pipes (LDP) to Bulgaria.
The supply was carried out within the framework of the Bulgartransgaz project for the construction of a gas distribution compressor station "Novaya Provadiya", which is carried out by the general contractor "GLAVBOLGARSTROY AD" PJSC Severstal), have a diameter of 1016 mm, a wall thickness of 15.9 mm and 19.1 mm.
The package also includes large-diameter pipes, which Severstal handed over for execution to its partner Liberty Tubular Products Galati SA (Romania). This includes LDP with a diameter of 609.6 mm with a wall thickness of 12.7 mm, as well as a diameter of 508 mm with a wall thickness of 11.1 mm.
Supply of large-diameter pipes produced by the Izhora Pipe Plant located at the production site in Kolpinsky St. Petersburg, as well as LDP from Romania, was carried out by road.
Severstal already has experience in supplying large diameter pipes to Europe, including Bulgaria. However, this is the first time a batch delivery of this type has been performed.
