Oskol Electrometallurgical Plant named after A.A. Ugarova (part of Metalloinvest) at the end of 2020 shipped a record amount of cast square billets to consumers. 1 million 40 thousand tons of products were sent to enterprises in Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, China, Italy, Denmark, Colombia and a number of other countries. This is almost 20 thousand tons higher than the previous maximum figure set in 2016.
Sections and shapes for the construction industry, the automotive industry and mechanical engineering are manufactured from continuous cast billets.
Under the prevailing difficult conditions, the more economical, in comparison with finished rolled products, the billet was in high demand in foreign markets. The plant managed to timely respond to the changing situation and meet the growing demand from customers thanks to competent production planning and professionalism of the company's specialists.

OEMK them. A.A. Ugarova produces continuously cast square billets with a section of 150x150 mm and 170x170 mm of a wide range of grades on a continuous casting machine No. 6. The products are distinguished by stable surface quality and dimensional accuracy.
Since the launch of CCM No. 6 in operation in 2005, the total shipment has amounted to 12 million tons.
