GHH Group, one of the leading suppliers of integrated solutions in the mining and tunnel industries, has introduced the MUV5 4x4 diesel SUV, designed specifically for small-section underground workings.
MUV5 is an underground multifunctional machine that can be equipped with auxiliary equipment necessary for performing operations underground: a compressor driven by a diesel engine, a welding machine, an electric winch, a g/n 1000kg manipulator crane, a high-pressure washer, and compartments for hand tools. To perform work at a height, it is possible to complete the lifting platform.
The new car is equipped with a powerful and eco-friendly EU Stage 3/ US EPA Tier 3 diesel engine. The cars are supplied with a Dana hydro-mechanical transmission.
The MUV5 cab is designed and certified according to ROPS/FOPS second-level standards. These systems are designed to ensure the safety of the driver-operator: ROPS (Roll Over Protective Structure) – design for rollover protection and FOPS (Falling Objects Protective Structure) - design for protection against falling objects.
In accordance with the requirements of the customer, the car can be additionally equipped with external standard systems of the customer: anti-collision system, control system of the (gas) mine atmosphere, video registration system, etc.
One of the modern advantages of the MUV5 is that the machine is already equipped with data collection and analysis equipment, as well as a CAN bus that provides connection to any devices that can simultaneously receive and transmit digital information.
