Vostochny Port JSC (UMMC port facilities) set a record for unloading coal for the winter period of 2020 - 2021. During the day on April 10, 2021, the actual unloading amounted to 1,464 wagons. In the same period of 2019 - 2020, this figure was 1307 wagons. Thanks to the well-coordinated, efficient work of the relevant divisions of the enterprise and Russian Railways, this figure became a record not only for Vostochny Port JSC, but also for other stevedoring enterprises in the country's industry.
- We have once again set a record for unloading. This unprecedented result was undoubtedly achieved by the joint efforts of the railway workers of the Far Eastern Railway and the staff of Vostochny Port JSC as a result of the full implementation in 2020 of a large-scale project of the Third Stage and the development of the railway infrastructure of the Nakhodka-Vostochnaya station. We have built and transferred to the balance of JSC Russian Railways a new railway fleet and fully launched a new own electrified fleet, which made it possible to synchronize the handling of wagons and make it uninterrupted thanks to new handling equipment at a specialized coal terminal, - said the director for port and railway projects of JSC "UMMC" Irina Olkhovskaya.
