At the stand of PJSC MMK, one of the leading suppliers for the Russian shipbuilding industry, the plant's capabilities for the production of shipbuilding steel will be presented. Magnitka accounts for up to half of all deliveries in this segment, and the volume of shipments in some years reaches 100 thousand tons. MMK's main consumers are enterprises belonging to OJSC United Shipbuilding Corporation.

MMK's ship steel production capabilities have expanded after the commissioning in 2009 of the 5000 plate mill capable of producing high-quality ship steel for various types of vessels. The ship steel produced at mill 5000 is certified by the classification society Bureau Veritas (France), the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, the Russian River Register, ABS (American Bureau of Shipping), Lloyd Register, the Norwegian classification society Det Norske Veritas, the German classification society Germanischer Lloyd ... In addition, MMK is constantly working on mastering technologies and producing new grades of steel for shipbuilding. In particular, a technology is being developed for the manufacture of high-strength shipbuilding steel for Arctic structures with operating temperatures up to -50˚C, used without restrictions for ice navigation vessels, icebreakers and offshore structures of the shelf.

The NEVA exhibition was for the first time organized in 1991 and takes place every two years. It is rightfully considered one of the leading international maritime exhibitions. This year the event takes place from 21 to 24 September at the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Center. Within the framework of the exhibition "NEVA-2021" on an area of ​​30,000 sq. m. more than 500 Russian and foreign exhibitors will be represented. These include not only large shipbuilding and ship repair enterprises, but also equipment manufacturers, leasing and consulting firms, industry associations and development institutions, investment funds and leading banks, entrepreneurs and businessmen from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Germany, France , Holland, Norway, Finland, Spain, Italy, Iceland, Poland, Greece, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Turkey, South Korea.
