Gradually, manufacturers have learned to make more advanced engines, which required better fuel. At the moment, the most popular types of gasoline are:
- A-72 pink, fuel for military vehicles that are not demanding on the quality of fuel;
- A-76 (80) has a yellow tint; it is used on machines produced domestically before 1990;
- AI-93 is the most popular type of fuel for modern cars and motorcycles, has a reddish tint;
- AI-98 with blue color, suitable for the most demanding, usually forced vehicles with high-revving engines.
It is very difficult to find gasoline with an octane rating below 92 at foreign gas stations. This is due to the fact that old cars are prohibited from operating on public roads.
