According to the World Organization of Automobile Manufacturers (OICA), for 9 months in 2025, global car production amounted to more than 68.7 million units, Ukravtoprom reports.
This is 4% more than in the same period of 2024.
- The largest share of this number belongs to passenger cars, of which 50.2 million units were produced. (+6%).
- Light commercial vehicles were produced – 15.5 million units. (-1%).
- Large trucks – 2.8 million units (+3%).
- Buses – 231.5 thousand units (+12%).
China remains the largest automaker in the world, with 24,332,696 units produced from January to September. cars (+13%).
