China condemns EU attempts to justify anti-dumping practices

China resolutely opposes the European Commission making a subjective, one-sided and erroneous assessment of the PRC's socialist market economy to justify its discriminatory anti-dumping practices. The Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China announced this on Thursday.

The department made this statement after the European Commission published a new report on Wednesday on the so-called "state-induced significant distortions" in the Chinese economy.

We would like to remind you that since 2017, China has repeatedly pointed out to the European Commission the illegality of introducing new anti-dumping duties on steel products. At the same time, direct accusations were made against EU leaders that they had turned China into an industrial scapegoat.
