Domestic prices for hot-rolled products in Europe remained stable and even increased slightly. Growth dynamics are likely to continue in the short term, despite concerns about real demand, Fastmarkets sources said on Thursday, April 10.
Steel producers in Northern Europe offered rolls for delivery in June and July at a price of 670-700 euros (744-777 dollars) per ton from the factory.

An Italian-made roll was offered to Germany at a price of 680 euros per ton.
The offers, however, were still higher than the market prices reported by the sources, mostly at 640-650 euros per tonne from the factory on Thursday.
