In March of this year, producer prices in French industry decreased by 0.4 percent compared to the previous month, down by 1.2 percent year-on-year, according to statistics from the French National Institute of Statistics and Economic Research (Insee). Producer prices for manufactured goods in France rose 0.2 percent in March compared with February and increased 0.8 percent year-on-year.
In this month, prices for exported industrial products remained stable, while prices for exported transport equipment decreased by 0.2 percent, month-on-month. Year-on-year in March, prices for exported industrial products increased by 1.3 percent, while prices for exported transport equipment increased by 3.2 percent.
Meanwhile, import prices for industrial products in France rose 0.1% month-on-month in March and increased 0.4% year-on-year.
