In April of this year, producer prices in French industry decreased by 4.3% month-on-month and 0.8% year-on-year, according to statistics released by France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Research (INSEE).
Producer prices for industrial products in France fell 0.5 percent in April compared with March and decreased 0.2 percent year-on-year.
In the reporting month, prices for exported industrial products fell by 0.8 percent, while prices for exported transport equipment decreased by 0.9 percent month-on-month. Year-on-year in April, prices for exported industrial products decreased by 0.2 percent, while prices for exported transport equipment increased by 1.8 percent.
Meanwhile, import prices for industrial products in France decreased by 0.6 percent month-on-month in April and decreased by 1.1 percent year-on-year.
